STAGE 03 - Local Authority Assesses Your Building Warrant Application

Your local authority building standards service will assess your application against the building regulations.

You should receive a response within 20 working days but check your local authority current performance levels.

It is a Legal Requirement for you to have a building warrant before any works commence.
 


Your local authority will produce a first report. This will tell you if any aspects do not comply with building regulations and if any additional information is required or if points need to be clarified.
